With the extended closure due to COVID19, teachers have put together an additional packet of work to be completed at home. We have a few options available for dropping off completed work and picking up new work;
1) Pick up and drop off at school in the elementary office on Monday, April 6 from 7:00-3:00 or Tuesday, April 7from 7:00-3:00
2) Pick up and drop off at lunch delivery locations on Monday, April 6 or Tuesday, April 7 from 11:30-1:00. If you choose this option, you will need to call the school and let us know so we put those student packets on the correct bus.
3) We can mail your packet to you. Again, please contact the school so we can start that process.
4)Porch pick up and drop off. If you would prefer to place the finished work in your mailbox or on your front porch, we will gladly pick up the packet and leave the new one. Again, you will need to contact us so we can arrange the pick up.
Please know that we will complete these tasks with extreme caution with your safety in mind.
Mrs. Brooks, elementary secretary, has been busy preparing lunches so if you call the office and do not get an answer, please leave a message and we will return your call. You can also email me directly at angel@cr6.net to let me know which option you chose.
If you would like to pick up and drop off at school but would rather not enter the lobby, please call when you arrive and we can deliver to your vehicle. Curb side service at its best!
ALL teachers and support staff are missing our awesome Community R-VI elementary kiddos! This empty building is a sad one. We are all anxious to get back to our normal routine. This shift in learning style took us all by surprise and I am forever grateful for what you are doing at home to continue your child's education. Please remember that we are here for you. If you have any questions, reach out to your child's teacher or myself. I am thoroughly impressed with all the pictures I've seen on social media of what you are doing at home. I enjoy watching the teacher's videos and reading your comments as well. Together, we will keep moving forward.
Missing you all,
Tammy Angel
